Meet the Kamp Krew!
Amanda is the Director of Koala-T-Kare Summer Kamp. She has served as the Director of our childcare program since 2016. Although this is her first year acting as Director, she has had close connection to Kamp for many years. Her two sons were lucky to experience the fun and educational learning for a handful of years. She has a degree in Early Childhood Administration through the University of Wisconsin - Superior. Amanda is looking forward to getting reacquainted with KTK alum and meeting the new families of the program.
Diana joined the team in April 2025. This is her first summer on the Kamp team, but has experience with School Age groups. She is working towards her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood and is a level 10 on the Wisconsin Registry.
Zach is our Assistant Director. He has been with Kamp for 10 years. He is from Stoughton, WI. During the school year, Zach is a job coach and works alongside students with disabilities. Outside of work, he enjoys playing volleyball and wood working. Zach is super excited for another year at Kamp! He can't wait to meet the new Kampers, spend time with returning Kampers and see the Great Scott Magic Show!
Emily will be joining us for her fourth Summer at Kamp! She graduated from UW-Madison with a bachelors in Elementary Education. Emily is currently a teacher in the Madison School District. She is from New Richmond, WI. In her spare time she enjoys arts & crafts and thrifting. She is most excited to graduate from college this summer!
Ashlynn is from Madison, WI, and attends UW-Whitewater, majoring in music education. This is her second summer at Kamp. In her free time she enjoys making music, running, and spending time outside. She is looking forward to connecting with Kampers and going on field trips this summer!
Karsten is returning to Kamp for his fifth summer. He is currently a student at UWM. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing sports. He is excited to meet the new Kampers and have a fun summer.
Yohana will be joining us for her second summer at Kamp! She is from Middleton, WI. Yohana graduated with a major in rehabilitation service in 2023. She then went on to get her Masters in School Counseling and is now an Elementary School Counselor in the Deforest School District. In her free time she enjoys camping, swimming, and hiking. She is very excited to be returning!
Chloe is from Madison, WI, and will be a senior at UW-Madison this fall. She is majoring in Art Education with a certificate in Art History. This will be her first summer at Kamp, and she is looking forward to making new friends and participating in arts and crafts activities. Outside of work and school, she enjoys painting, reading, and playing with her cats.
Tessa is from Lodi, WI and is currently attending UW-Eau Claire with a major in Actuarial Science. This is her first summer at Kamp! In her spare time, Tessa likes reading, playing tennis, and music. She is very excited to work with all of the kids this summer!
