Meet the Kamp Krew!
Cassie K. is our Director. She has been with Kamp for 14 years. Cassie has a bachelors degree in Recreation Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Kamp is near and dear to her heart, the connections made with families is top priority. Cassie loves getting messy with the kids during sensory activities and enjoys exploring the outdoors while seeing those "ah ha!" moments. Outside of work, she and her husband, are raising 3 funny, energetic and curious sons in DeForest, WI.
Zach H. is our Assistant Director. He has been with Kamp for 10 years. He is from Stoughton, WI. During the school year, Zach is a job coach and works alongside students with disabilities. Outside of work, he enjoys playing volleyball and wood working. Zach is super excited for another year at Kamp! He can't wait to meet the new Kampers, spend time with returning Kampers and see the Great Scott Magic Show!
Makayla C. is a Kamp Leader. She is from Chicago, IL. She is currently attending UW-Madison and majoring in social work. She has certificates in gender & women's studies, criminal justice and educational policy studies. She will be graduating May 2024. In her spare time she enjoys running and doing puzzles. She is very excited to get to know everyone at Kamp and have Fun in the Sun!
Adam S. is a Kamp Leader. He is currently attending UW-Stout and majoring in Technology Education. He is from DeForest, WI. In his spare time, Adam enjoys wood working, fishing, hiking, camping and traveling. He is active in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. Adam is excited to work with youth this summer at Kamp and enjoy a trip to Arizona!
Maria O. is a Kamp Leader. This will be her first year at Summer Kamp. She graduated from Middleton Highschool and went on to Elmhurst Learning and Success Academy at Elmhurst University. She is currently a Special Education Para Educator at Middleton Highschool and has experience as a preschool teacher. She loves pickleball and traveling. Maria is excited to meet new people this summer, especially the kampers!
Lisa B. is coming back for her 9th summer as a Kamp Leader. She is currently a 5th grade teacher in the Madison School District. She holds a Masters degree from Edgewood College.
Ben H. is returing to Kamp for his 7th Summer! He is currently an ESL DLI 3rd grade teacher in the Madison School District. He has a bachelors degree from UW-Madison.
Emily M will be joining us for her 3rd Summer at Kamp! She is currently a student at UW-Madison, majoring in Elementary Education. She is from New Richmond, WI. In her spare time she enjoys arts & crafts and thrifting. She is most excited to graduate from college this summer!
Anna S. is joining us from DeForest, WI for her first summer at Kamp. She currently studying Kinesiology with a minor in Nutritional Sciences at UW-Milwaukee. She loves to exercise and be outside! She is most excited to go swimming this summer!
Karsten G. is returning to Kamp for his 3rd Summer as a Leader. Karsten is a Senior at Lakeside Lutheran Highschool and a KTK Summer Kamp alumni. He plans to attend UW-Milwaukee in the fall and study Business. Karsten loves to run and watch football in his free time. He is most excited to go on field trips this summer with the Kampers.
Mia T. is returning to Kamp for her 2nd year at Kamp! Mia is from Middleton WI, she is a senior at Lakeside Lutheran Highschool. She plans to attend UW-Madison and study journalism. She is excited for the fieldtrips with the Kampers this summer!
