KTK Summer Kamp is designed to unite all the fun of summer break with continued education, exploration and growth. Your child will enjoy a thematic approach to learning throughout the course of the summer that will entertain, inspire and prepare them for the upcoming school year. A new theme each week will be enhanced with field trips, art projects and academic activities. Your child’s mind, body and spirit will grow through weekly swimming excursions, outdoor exploration and play, Bible games and activities, healthy snacks and an overall emphasis on building a strong character and love of learning.

Summer Kamp is a summer program for school-age children entering kindergarten through grade six. The program can accommodate up to 34 children. 

KTK Summer Kamp will meet on the campus of Westside Christian School in Middleton, utilizing the school’s gymnasium, classrooms and playground during the course of the program. Afternoon snacks and milk will be provided each day. Kamp participants are asked to bring a morning snack, sack lunch and water bottle each day. Participants will also need to provide sunscreen of their parents’ choosing, along with appropriate swimming attire and beach towel for swimming days.

*St. Andrew Lutheran Church will hold a week-long Vacation Bible School at Westside Christian School, July 22-26,  from 8-11:30 am. Summer Kamp participants are welcome to attend this program at no charge. Summer Kamp participants who attend  VBS during Week 9 are eligible for a discount of $15 per day enrolled.

Pricing

Build an experience for your child that works best for your family! Pricing is shown per week per child. For parents with more than one child enrolled, you may take $10 off each additional child’s weekly rates. See below for additional discounts.

Fees & Policies

Pre-pay discount:

Families enrolled in 4- or 5-day program for at least 9 weeks can pay for the whole summer by April 15 and take a 3% discount off their remaining balance for the summer.

Additional Child Discount:

Pricing is shown per week per child. For parents with more than one child enrolled in 4- or 5-day program for at least 9 weeks, you may take $10 off the weekly rate for each additional child after the first.

Reservation Fee:

A nonrefundable $20 fee per child per week is required to reserve your spot in Summer Kamp. The fee will then be applied to the week you reserve. On the registration form, please indicate the number of days per week your child will attend, as well as which weeks. There is a 2-week minimum for the summer. Reservations will be made on a first come, first serve basis, with priority given to families who reserve space for the entire program.

Registration Fee:

There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee per child for families who are new to Koala-T-Kare. If your child was enrolled in Kamp last summer or in our preschool program, the registration fee is $25 per child. A registration form, all required intake forms and a check for all fees need to be submitted before your reservation can be confirmed. A confirmation email will be sent when your reservation is confirmed.

Late Fee:

All children must be picked up at the scheduled time. A penalty fee of $10 will be assessed beginning 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time for each increment of 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time and must be paid promptly.

Confirmation Policy:

A registration form, all required intake forms and a check for all fees need to be submitted before your reservation can be confirmed. A confirmation email will be sent when your reservation is confirmed.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations or changes to reservations must be made by May 1, 2013, to avoid penalties. If you cancel or reduce your schedule after May 1 but prior to May 24, you will forfeit your registration fee. If you cancel or reduce your schedule after May 24, you will forfeit your reservation fee and be charged 50% of the cost of the cancelled reservation.

Vacation Bible School:

St. Andrew Lutheran Church will hold a week-long Vacation Bible School at Westside Christian School, July 22-26, from 8-11:30 am. Summer Kamp participants are welcome to attend this program at no charge. Summer Kamp participants who attend VBS during Week 9 are eligible for a discount of $15 per day enrolled.

Provisions:

KTK will provide an afternoon snack and milk to participants each day. Parents are responsible for providing their child(ren) with a morning snack, sack lunch, water bottle and sunscreen each day, as well as proper swimming attire/towel when needed.
